for Parents
Case Consultation
90-Minute
-
This is a one-time, 90-minute consultation for parents of neurodivergent teens and young adults who feel stuck and want a clear, thoughtful plan for how to move forward.
This may be a good fit if:
❋ You’re unsure what is actually driving your child’s behavior
❋ You’re wondering whether you’re seeing burnout, anxiety, avoidance, or capacity limits
❋ You worry that current supports may be helping in the moment but maintaining stuckness over time
❋ You want guidance before making changes at home, school, or in daily routines
❋ You’re considering or waiting to join SPACE to Grow and want support now -
No. This is not therapy and does not replace ongoing clinical care.
It is a structured, high-level parent consultation focused on education, guidance, and strategic planning.
We will not be starting an ongoing therapy relationship, providing diagnosis, or offering crisis care. Instead, we’ll use the time to understand the situation clearly and identify what may be most helpful next.
-
During this session, we will:
❋ Clarify what may be going on beneath surface behaviors
❋ Differentiate burnout, avoidance, anxiety, and capacity limits
❋ Identify where current supports may be helping — or maintaining stuckness
❋ Define 1–2 high-impact next steps
❋ Talk through how to implement those steps in a realistic, sustainable way
You’ll leave with clearer language for what you’re seeing, a better sense of what may be driving the pattern, and practical next steps for your family.
-
Yes. This is a one-time consultation and does not include ongoing support or between-session communication.
Follow-up consultations may be scheduled separately, if needed.
-
This option can be especially helpful for families who are looking for guidance now — including those considering or waiting to join SPACE to Grow.
It can give you a clearer sense of what may be happening, what support may be needed, and what next step makes the most sense.
DR. SIENA'S APPROACH
DR. SIENA'S APPROACH
Neurodiverse families experience
unique challenges
Balancing the needs of each family member can feel overwhelming — especially when your priority is to support a child who is struggling.
You may be trying to reduce conflict, protect your child’s mental health, build independence, and preserve your relationship all at once. That can be exhausting, especially when standard advice doesn’t fit your child or your family.
My approach is to help you step back and understand the full picture: your child’s neurotype, capacity, anxiety, executive functioning, family dynamics, and the supports already in place.
Together, we’ll look at what may be keeping your family stuck and identify a realistic path forward — one that supports your child’s growth while also considering the well-being of the whole family.
With my clinical training and experience, combined with your deep knowledge of your child, we can create a clearer plan for what to do next.
